The J-Man Show#125: A Tale of Two Kings

After so many days of waiting, The J-Man looks into the WB Monster Verse films, and discusses Godzilla (2014), Kong Skull Island (2015), and Godzilla KOTM (2019. He also takes some anecdotes with Filmmaking in general, and how entertainment is all about just enjoying pleasures that the films give you. There’s also three gaming recommendations and he mentions a little tidbit that J360 is going dark for at least a week.

Happy Halloween!!!

Watch “‘The Mummy’ Official Trailer (2017)

It has finally landed, come take a look at the Official Trailer for the Mummy coming next year. I still have optimism around this film perhaps Universal knows what they’re doing with this entry in their monsters-verse. I can’t wait to see more of the mayhem this Evil Princess will unleash. Now it does tend to have more action adventure than horror in this trailer but maybe the true film will mix horror elements of the old ones, and the thrill ride aspects of the 90s ones.

Anyways I’m going to see what it’s all about next year but what do you all think?

The Mummy (2017) Teaser

Hey J360 Legion

The teaser for the new Mummy movie is here (or has been here, and we’re just now sharing it heh…).

Check it out if you haven’t seen it already, this is to be Universal Studios 2nd attempt at bringing the Universal Monsters back into the modern age (Remember Dracula Untold?).

Tom Cruise, a Female Mummy, and a creepy atmosphere?

I’m intrigued to see what’s going to happen, and the trailer lands on Sunday so I’ll be sure to throw a post up for it.  I know we’re starting to be surrounded by shared universes from out of nowhere but hey let Universal get another shot at it.  Dracula Untold had cool effects but much like how DC comics did with Green Lantern, it doesn’t count anymore so here’s hoping it all works out.

What do you all think of the teaser so far? Are you excited to see what happens next or not?

Discuss it on the bottom or send a response to twitter: @j360productions #Mummy #Teaser

The J360 Monster Fest: Now Showing 10/30/16

Hey J360 Legion

As you all know our J360 Monster Fest is continuing throughout all of November and bringing things up to speed is a horror anthology series called Tales from the Darkside.

I’m halfway through the first season so far and I have to say while some eps were a bit hokey, this set is definitely worth the $30 dollar price tag for all 96 episodes. Far as the content goes the episodes hold up well as the picture and sounds are clear, and the creep factor is still strong to this day.

The J360 Monster Fest Now Showing.jpg

So I’m going to be scaring the hell out of myself for awhile as I partake at least the first two seasons of this set while watching more monster movies in between. I actually have a wall of shame for horror movies just like the one for the PowerPlay.  So it’s all about enjoying the films I do have and doing a bit of case studying as I am working on three new short films for J360 Productions.

The adventure continues Ladies and Gentlemen, and until next time have an awesome night.

Song Of The Day: 10/29/16 Saturday Special

Hey J360 Legion

Welcome to a multi-event weekend, filled with today, my birthday tomorrow, and Halloween on Monday. Too much ground to cover in one full weekend, so how to go about celebrating all three things eh? We’ll start with a Song of the Day.  It should be a theme that accurately works with all things in a synthesized rhythm with 80s drum beats, and created through independent musicians.

Now while that request doesn’t narrow anything down at all, today’s song will be a real treat for those of you that are participating in the Halloween festivities tonight.  A little bit of those Dr.Frankenstein vibes are in order, and indeed this fits the mold.

Today’s track is called “The Man who made a monster.” created by Dance Of The Dead.

If you enjoy the sounds of Dance Of The Dead, feel free to check out their Soundcloud here.

I know Saturdays are usually a day of smooth tones and calmness on this feature but you can have that next week, have fun haunting tonight and tomorrow people.

Song Of The Day: 10/24/16 Monster Monday

Hey J360 Legion

The weekly grind is back and so are we with a new Song of the Day, and staying in step with our horror event the J360 Monster Fest, we’re going to kick off the week with some music from our old friends in the Dark synthwave line-up, Dance with the Dead.   Now don’t go to pieces worrying about it being Monday, and thinking  it’s time to do the same old again, it’s a different day to make new opportunities. This song will really amp you up and help you pull yourselves together as you face similar ghouls on the way to work today.

Today’s track is called “Stitch” by Dance with the Dead.

If you love the sounds from Dance with the Dead, feel free to check out their soundcloud here.

Now that you’re all patched up, handle your business and keep striving for greatness.

Songs Of The Day: 10/13/16 Two for Thursday

Hey J360 Legion

Welcome back to the Two for Thursday special here on the Song Of The Day.

Although we’re getting closer to another weekend, the grind never stops.

While you’re all out there making important plans happen, you may need a double push of music to handle the tasks ahead. We are still following in step with our Monster Fest regarding Dark or Mythical synthwave selections, and we have two fine examples to share today.

First up, we have an a supernatural piece called  “Out of Body” from Dance With The Dead.

If you enjoy the sounds of Dance With the Dead, feel free to follow their soundcloud here.

Next track is a fantastic synth rock piece called “Legend of the Keeper” from Magic Sword.

If you enjoy the sounds of Magic Sword, feel free to follow their soundcloud here.

The heart and soul these musicians put into their work are an inspiration for me to try harder in creating productions, and I’m sure you can all feel the same as well.  They put tons of tireless efforts into their work and it shows through each track from their respective albums.

So don’t get bored of your grind, do different things and make it worth doing.

All of you are capable of making it happen.

Song Of The Day: 10/10/16 Maniacal Monday

Hey J360 Legion

It’s Monday again but don’t feel bad about it because it’s time to start a new adventure.

We’ve got to battle and embrace the grind as its own reward so that we can acquire those fringe benefits we love so much.  We have to fight through the dark and conquer the fears as it only makes us stronger when we do. Don’t let the ghosts and ghouls along with your own dark side pull you into disparity and futility.

We have to look at Monday as a day to say

“All right, let’s do this!”

That way you can put this day in the place it deserves, as an area to tell your story and where it will lead you but first take a Song of the Day to strengthen you.

Today’s track is called “In the Face of Evil.” from Magic Sword, and it is perfect for the grind.

If you enjoy the sounds from Magic Sword, feel free to check out their soundcloud here.

Let nothing stop you or stand in your way.

Introducing The J360 Monster Fest!

The J360 Monster Fest -JBrady

Hello J360 Legion!

Welcome to the first start of the J360 Monster Fest, a feature where we take a look into different monster movies, scary stories, and urban legends.   We will begin by looking into the monsters from the legendary Universal Studios canon and discuss every film in the each collection.  Except for multi-verse films when all of the monsters meet up because we have a special presentation for them.  We’re also doing this because since shared cinematic universes are a profitable trend now.  Universal Studios is deciding to do the same thing with their monsters for a modern audience, and arguably they may have started the trend years ago with House of Dracula and House of Frankenstein.

This is open to all members of the team, and even you J360 fans can join in on the fun by presenting some information on some Horror movies,TV Shows, and Comics you would like to discuss. It can be horror, science fiction, print or broadcast media, you name it and plus we’re not going to stop working on this on the 31st, this is going from now through November!

Unleash all of the Ghosts and Ghouls at your disposal, J360 Legion because it’s time to celebrate the darkness inside!

If you have any suggestions or movie topics you’d want to discuss let us know via the comments and/or post to the Twitter: @j360productions.

Let’s start it off by looking at the legendary Michael Jackson classic, Thriller!
