In a surprising comeback, the J-Man discusses Space Operas, and in particularly the most famous one that just dropped a teaser and held a celebration: Star Wars! Now didn’t we just give a severe dislike and backlash to that franchise last year? Is Star Wars Cool again? J-Man will throw his two cents on it, he’ll speak about a couple of B-Movies he saw Friday Night, and his new plan for a returning segment to this show: Film Redemptions.
It has finally happened, the Star Wars Episode 8 title has been revealed and it is called “The Last Jedi.” According to Lucasfilm, there is plenty of symbolism in this title font of what is to come for the main continuity’s tone. Rightfully so considering that this is to be the Sequel Trilogy’s “Empire Strikes Back”
Since Episode 7 had the nostalgia factor riding for its success at the box office. I’m wondering if this will be the one to explain many of the mysteries from the previous one.
Will there be answers to Rey’s lineage?
Is Finn going to have better combat skills this time?
Will Luke Skywalker die?
Will the legendary characters do more than cameo apperances?
All of these things may or may not be resolved but this title most definitely has me thinking of different possibilities to have fun with. I’m sure there’s someone out there typing a fan-fic right now. All that is known is that everything we knew about Star Wars is changing and hopefully in December 2017, it will be worth the wait.
I would give you all an optimistic message of hope and freedom but tonight you’re all going to go experience Rogue One and it’s time to be festive. Since it is Friday Night and you all are about to party it up, let’s do it with a hint of the Force.
Tis the season of the Dark Side, I dare you to give into it for at least one night.
Tonight’s track is called “Dark Side” (Star Wars Mix) by Audio Rockers and Matt Raiden.

Dare I say it but December cannot come soon enough, I can’t wait to see how this movie will unfold and if there’s any links or easter eggs to what’s going on in the new trilogy regarding Rey’s lineage. I love how it seems to have a grittier atmosphere too and it even has IP Man’s Donnie Yen as a character. While we’re on the subject of characters each one in this film has an underlying story all their own which is a refreshing take and makes me care. Another positive is that this film takes place within the 19 year gap between Episode 3 and 4, a smart move and plenty of ground to craft new stories.
This film could very well be my top pick for 2016 followed by Dr. Strange, and at the end it will at least be in my top 3.
Anyways enough of my thoughts, what do you all think of Rogue One so far?
